My local club gives out these lap quilts to our local service members that have served in the War on Terror, as our way to say Thanks. Sometimes we have to give them to other family members since they might be away. Enjoy some pics.

Just my little piece of the cyber world. Talking about Quilting, Long Arm Quilting, Knitting, Kids and trouble. This Blog is my feeling and my opinions! If I find something that makes me sad, mad or glad I want to share those feelings and opinions.
Were these made for the Quilts of Valor (www.qov.org) charity or another one?
ReplyDeleteViolette, These quilts are made just for our local service members by my club here. We call these Quilts of Honor. Our club members all help somehow in making them, then we invite our local service member in and present them with a quilt as our way of saying Thanks. I live in a rather small county and we are trying to give out to every service member in our county that we can find.
